An agent that can't see your calendar, your CRM or your order system can only take a message. Ours work inside the tools you already run: they read what they need, write back what happened, and hand your team a summary instead of a sticky note.
Why does an agent need your systems?
Because the useful part of a call happens in your systems. A booking only counts once it's in the calendar. A lead only gets followed up once it's in the CRM. An agent that stops at "I'll pass that on" leaves the real work for your team, and the caller waiting.
How do our agents connect?
Through the tools you already use. The agent updates your CRM, books into your calendar and alerts your team, through those tools' APIs or n8n. Every tool on our integrations page is ready-made, so most set-ups start there.
What if there's no ready-made connection?
Then we build one. Where a system needs software work, such as a custom CRM, a portal or a back office, we work with our technology partner, Softechinfra. It's a two-way partnership: Softechinfra builds our voice AI into the software it delivers, and we use Softechinfra's engineering in ours. Softechinfra wrote about the partnership from its side.
Who does what?
TalkCaptain owns the conversation; Softechinfra builds the software it lands in when there isn't a ready-made connection.
| TalkCaptain | Softechinfra | |
|---|---|---|
| The conversation | Answers, qualifies, books and hands over | – |
| Your systems | Connects through APIs or n8n | Builds or extends CRMs, portals and apps |
| After launch | Reviews conversations and tunes the agent | Keeps the software running |
If you'd rather run the automation on your own servers, Softechinfra's guide to self-hosting n8n sets out the costs and the reliability trade-offs.
Where is this already working?
TalkDrill's AI tutors talk to learners on the same voice AI as our agents, as TalkDrill explains in its own post. On our own site, every booking request lands in our lead sheet and emails the team and the visitor automatically: the same kind of connection we build for clients.
How does a project run?
It starts with a free 30-minute call about how your calls and leads work today. We design the agent and its connections with you, build and test it (we explain how we test an agent before it takes real calls), then go live and keep improving it. For an example in one industry, see how agents call portal leads back for estate agents.
